Public Notice - Intention of Withdrawal of Authorization

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec announces his intention to withdraw the authorization of the municipal political party “Renouveau municipal de Montréal”, pursuant to Section 404 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (AERM) (Chapter E-2.2), for the following reason:

  • Failure to provide the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec by April 1, 2013 with a list of the names and addresses of the minimum number of members required under the third paragraph of Section 397, which is 100 members, who are qualified to vote and who hold a valid membership card, all in violation of Section 399.3 of the AERM.

Anyone wishing to submit comments or arguments against the withdrawal of this party’s authorization must send these in writing no later than September 28, 2013, 4:30 p.m. to the following address:
