Release of information policy (under review)
In accordance with the Release of information policy, we make the following information available:

Inventory of personal information
The inventory of personal information files lists the personal information we have on file. For each file, we describe several factors including how we use the information, the source of the information, the categories of people who have access to it, and the security measures taken to ensure the confidentiality of the information.
Maintaining this inventory is a requirement under section 76 of the Access Act.
You have the right to be informed of the existence of information about you in a personal information file and to obtain a copy of that information. You may also request that any personal information about you be corrected or destroyed if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous, or if its collection, disclosure, or conservation is not permitted by law.

Register of personal information released
The Register of personal information released records the sharing of personal information with public bodies without the consent of the individual concerned.
It also describes personal information that is used for purposes other than those for which it was collected.
This registry is a requirement under section 67.3 of the Access Act.
Contracts and financial commitments
In keeping with our commitment in the Policy on the disclosure of information and protection of privacy (PDF – in French), we make information regarding contracts and financial commitments available.

- Establishing guiding principles for institutional practices involving the management of personal information;
- Clarifying the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders concerned by this policy.

Processing time and fees
We have 20 days to respond to your request for access upon receipt. This period may be extended by 10 days, if necessary. Please note that reproduction or transmission fees may be charged under the Regulation respecting fees for the transcription, reproduction or transmission of documents or personal information. However, you can view documents free of charge at our Québec office.
After analyzing a request, the head of Access to Documents and Protection of Personal Information issues a decision and sends it to you by e-mail or mail.
When you receive this decision, do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance in understanding it or if you experience technological problems.
Classification plan
The classification plan is made up of codes and headings that describe all of our activities. These headings are used to classify all documents and files produced or received, so that they can be more easily located.
As a reference and research tool, this plan facilitates access to information requests.
