Élections Québec is proud to unveil its new website!
Why a new site?
We needed to redesign our website to better meet our users’ needs, which have changed significantly over the years. The new site brings everything under one roof: provincial, municipal and school elections, returning officer recruitment, new electoral map, etc.
Altogether, we consulted more than 170 users at different stages of the project.
What’s new?
New features and key improvements include:
- The revision and simplification of most content;
- A simple, user-friendly, task-oriented design better adapted to the needs of users;
- A new search engine that makes it easier to find information (with further improvements planned for the coming months);
- A large, education-focused section titled Understand;
- A comprehensive Results and statistics section with data from past elections and referendums, including tables and graphs;
- A profile of every political party;
- A profile of every electoral division.
Redirections have been planned on most of the old URL addresses, but we still invite you to modify your bookmarks as soon as possible.
