We are publishing a summary of the returns of election expenses (French only) of all the political parties and all the candidates in the October 1, 2018 general election. The report presents the amounts declared in the returns of election expenses we received. The following are some highlights.
As a comparison, in 2014, election expenses of all parties and candidates represented 33.7% of the allowable limit, while the percentage was 53.4% for the four parties in the National Assembly and their candidates.
