From June 15 to 17, Élections Québec will be participating in a seminar with electoral experts from RECEF on the theme “Secure, peaceful and inclusive elections.” There are armed and socio-political conflicts in certain African countries. The seminar participants will examine the challenges that arise from these situations, the possible solutions to restore confidence in the electoral process, and the role of electoral management bodies in these contexts. RECEF will hold its annual general meeting at the same time.
The Réseau des compétences électorales francophones (RECEF) is an international group of electoral administrations that includes 32 member countries, most of which are located on the African continent. RECEF aims to support its members and assist them in establishing sustainable, neutral, autonomous and independent electoral institutions.
