  • Land area excluding water in km2 corresponds to the total land area of the territory minus the surface area of the following bodies of water: the St. Lawrence River, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Saguenay River, Lac Saint-Jean and the Ottawa River.
  • Total population is taken from semi-custom profiles prepared by Statistics Canada based on the 2021 Census (Product No. C97C0001; ); Reference Date: November 30, 2022).
  • Population density is calculated based on population data from 2021 and land area excluding water in km2. It is provided for information purposes only.
