Élections Québec has released the financial reports of authorized political entities for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2021.
Authorized political entities include provincial political parties, party authorities, authorized independent MNAs and authorized independent candidates. We have released their financial reports to comply with the transparency principle, which is one of the fundamentals of our political financing system.
During the 2021 fiscal year*, political entities reported revenues of over $15.6 million, while their expenses were just over $11.4 million. The entities received approximately $2.3 million in political contributions.
* The data presented reflects reports produced as of June 21, 2022. They exclude transfers between a party and its authorities.
