Making sure your name is on the list of electorsTo vote, you must be registered on the list of electors at your home address. Make sure your information is accurate.
Registering your name on the permanent list of electors or changing your informationIf you are eligible to vote, but your name is not on the list of electors, or if you notice an error, you can correct this situation.
Can you vote?To vote in an election or referendum, you must meet certain conditions. Your name must be entered on the list of electors.

Four hours to voteOn polling day, your employer must give you at least four consecutive hours to vote, with no reduction in pay or other penalty.
Each electoral division is presented on a data sheet that includes its map, the origin of its name and its socioeconomic data. During elections, this sheet also includes information on the candidates and the returning officer of the electoral division.
