Under the provisions of the Act respecting School elections dealing with the financing of candidates and the control of election expenses, an authorized candidate must file the reports and returns of an authorized candidate in the form prescribed by the Directeur général des élections du Québec, regardless of whether or not the candidate collected contributions, incurred expenses or contracted a loan.
These reports and returns together with the vouchers must be produced and submitted to the director general of the school board in the 90 days following the election.
The public has access to these reports and returns once they have been submitted.
